Christmas 2005

I was very worried for a while that Christmas 2005 would be a sad time for me because of losing some important people in my life this year. It was not... it was a really wonderful holiday. I felt renewed in life in a lot of aspects.
In actuality, I am realizing that for all the people that you lose, you gain two. That's the beautiful thing about the cycles of life... time, new friendships, and love help heal a shattered heart from hurt and sadness. It's an on-going process that takes time.
And I can't say enough about the inner strength you find when your spirit reaches its lowest point. That's what the cherished old friends are there for - to remind you of this.
Anyway, wishing you all a very merry Christmas! Here are some pictures from my holiday.
