Just Happy to Be Here

What a great weekend!

On Friday night, Dan and I met up with Kristi, Miguel, and Kiko (Miguel's brother) at the Lancaster Brew Pub. It was WONDERFUL to hang out and catch up with them and chat about their upcoming wedding!!! We enjoyed the beer, too... it's a great microbrewery for those of you looking for a new place to check out.

Saturday I was in State College, cheering Penn State to victory against Northwestern. Any time spent in State College (even with rain) is good time.

On Sunday, I went to the Renaissance Faire with Doug, Lexie (Doug's girlfriend), and Cassie (our cousin). We went in costume to add to the atmosphere of things.

We walked around and ate yummy food and watched shows (some quite raunchy) and got to throw axes and ninja stars. Doug rode the quintain and lanced a dragon (On video!! Which will be posted as soon as Cassie gets it to me. ) AND we got to see Dan in his kilt and speaking in dialect. A day well worth the admission fees. :-)

I went home and had an all-American evening with Dan, eating pizza and watching football. Crashed very early since my weekend was constantly busy.

Getting excited here for the next two weekends and the weddings/vacation!
